OBJECTIVE:

  • Know what you will be learning in the 1-A Section
    • The Grand Staff
    • Names of keys on keyboard and on sheet music
    • Middle C (C4), E4, C3
    • Playing with right and left hands
    • Note and rest durations
    • Time signatures
    • How to sit at the piano and hand shape
  • You will first watch the educational video(s) followed by completing quizzes and challenges to test your knowledge and understanding of the concepts taught in the video(s). Then you will be directed to specific exercises in the Piano Marvel Trophy Cases to complete. Piano Marvel is where you will be applying what you have just learned at the piano through piano exercises.
